Going to the toilet is a necessary bodily function for everyone, yet people report difficulty in taking toilet breaks at work. Are we allowed to piss with dignity while on the clock? I investigated.
I created resources for workers to learn about their rights at work, focussing on toilet related issues for young people who work in part-time jobs and are inexperienced in workplace laws.

Discussions were sparked on social media after a TikTok video made by a girl suffering from kidney failure because of holding in urine went viral. Many complained about not being able to use the toilet at work, leading me to investigate the issue further and discover toilet breaks aren’t legally protected.

I named the campaign ‘Go”, a simple and urgent command. The campaign’s logo is the word Go manipulated into the shape of a toilet seat and toilet roll.

I made a website hosting information about employment law, focusing on breaks and directing workers to professional advice. All of the promotional materials lead to this website which is full of information and advice I found while researching and talking to lawyers.

Posters placed around campus, representing student workers doing student activities in toilet cubicles.

Simple stickers stuck around toilet cubicles, urinals, sinks and toilet doors, leading to the website.

My attempt at rebranding the Bakerloo line. Lovely people, fast response, let me down easy.
